This resource is ideal for your pre - k or kinder classroom. Students will observe the picture and decide which of the two letters shown represents the initial sound for that picture, then they cut and paste the picture in the corresponding side of the chart. This will help students to learn the sound of each letter of the alphabet as well as to identify the initial sound of a word, thus developing the skill of alliteration.
Included you will find the letters ch, ll and ñ. This activity will also help your students with their vocabulary development. I’ve used these with my students, and it really helped with the development of their alliteration and vocabulary skills. There are 34 pages included.
You can print all the pages and use it as a booklet throughout the school year, use it in your classroom in whole group instruction, in your literacy center or send individual pages home as homework.
